Earlier this month, CDF commenced production with a rebuilt forge rotary furnace to service and increase heating capacity for some of its largest hammers. This furnace was rebuilt in-house and has North American high-velocity Tempest Burners.
CDF’s ability to rebuild furnaces in-house is somewhat unique to the forging industry and enables CDF to ensure needed heating capacity and efficiency. Another furnace is slated to be rebuilt to increase the heating capacity for its oilfield forging cell.
