Why This Training Matters
Welding is a critical skill in our industry, requiring precision, knowledge, and safety awareness. This training was not just about enhancing skills; it was about empowering our team members from the Die Shop and Maintenance departments with the latest welding techniques and safety practices.

The two-day program was a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Topics covered included:

- Techniques for pre-heating dies and tooling
- Best practices for post-weld heat treatment
- Understanding of thermal processes, mechanical, and thermal stress relief

- Scarfing (Air/Carbon Arc) processes
- Selecting the right materials for welding
- Setting optimal welding parameters
- Recognizing and rectifying weld defects
- Tips for efficient and safe welding
