Canton, OH – October 2025
This October, Canton Drop Forge (CDF) proudly partnered with Habitat for Humanity of
Greater Stark and Carroll Counties to host a family-friendly Trunk or Treat celebration,
combining Halloween fun with a shared commitment to giving back to the community.
The event was held at Habitat for Humanity’s Canton location and brought together
CDF employees, their families, and local partners for a morning filled with creativity,
candy, and connection. Beyond the decorated trunks and costumes, the celebration
highlighted Habitat’s mission to help families achieve safe, affordable housing and long-
term stability through home builds, repair programs, and financial education.
CDF employees collected donations to support Habitat for Humanity’s local efforts,
demonstrating one of the company’s core values: Community. The partnership reflected
CDF’s belief that engagement and generosity are essential to building a stronger
Canton.
Special recognition goes to Goldfish Swim School mascot, Bubbles and team, who
participated and helped make the event even more enjoyable for children. Additional
recognition to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Employees, and participating families.
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore showcased how donated items can be repurposed to
fund Habitat’s housing programs. The ReStore offers a unique way for the public to
shop, donate, and directly support affordable housing for families in Stark and Carroll
counties.

people,” said Greg Lorenzoni, President of Canton Drop Forge. “Our employees
showed their generosity and spirit while supporting an organization that truly changes
lives.”
