Lift trucks are especially important to Canton Drop Forge for transporting forgings throughout the shop. Canton Drop Forge has over 30 trucks, and their proper care and maintenance is critical to their availability. Realizing how important they are and the high cost of maintaining them, Canton Drop Forge went through Lift Truck Care and Maintenance Month. All employees were re-trained in the lift truck pre-shift inspection process and educated on the maintenance costs and downtime associated with them.
