Each year, Canton Drop Forge employees go off-site to refresh our commitment to safety. This year’s “Safety Day at the Forge” speaker was Wylie Davidson. He explained that safety, in many cases, is a personal choice. Everyday decisions like speeding through a yellow light, standing on a chair instead of a ladder, talking on the phone while driving, can be risky. Sometimes we also make these same poor decisions at work. He urged us to stop and think about four people we would never want to be harmed in any way and who depend on us the most and to change our risky behaviors and follow all safety rules with them in mind.
